The “Strana SVETA - 2023” (“Country of LIGHT - 2023”) is competition meant for media artists, which envisages for creating audio-visual works in the formats and with the help of technologies of 3D mapping, motion design, generic design, AR, VR video. All interested University students are invited to participate in the contest.
This year, the topic is “Place of Power – Small Motherland”. Invited for participation are teams and/or individual media artists who are over 18 and are working professionally in the sphere of AV content. Special attention will be paid to the candidates who have experience of participations in multimedia project, but also who didn`t receive the due attention from the professional community and audience.
The contest will last from April 1 to December 10, 2023.
The first stage – 1 April to 31 July 2023 – portfolio contest and expert board assessment.
The second stage – 1 August – 30 September 2023 – contest of enticing sketch presentations and jury board assessment.
The third stage – 1 October 8 December 2023 – making AV content (contest works) and technical test.
Finals – 9 and 10 December 2023 – Display of works on Dvortsovaya Ploschad in St. Petersburg, broadcasting and winner selection procedure by audience voting.
It`s worth noting that the prize fund is 2,000,000 rubles. The winner will receive a million rubles, second and third-place winners – 600,000 and 400,000 rubles correspondingly.
